Halton Jazz Singers will be holding auditions by appointment to fill two vocal positions of ‘bass/baritone’ melodic and vocal percussion.
The vocal jazz group seeks two confident and proficient musician singers with a lower register (bass) vocal range; the candidate must be prepared to commit to up to two rehearsals per week when in “concert” mode.
Currently the four-member vocal jazz group rehearses Monday evenings. The group is in rehearsals with several swing bands. In addition Halton Jazz Singers have bookings in surrounding communities.
Halton Jazz Singers are the recipients of a Professional Development grant from Choirs Ontario.
