Milton Golf

Golf has become one of the most popular sports in Georgia and Milton’s residents are fortunate to have many excellent local golf courses to enjoy. One of the finest facilities in the area is White Columns, which is located next to Freemanville Road in northwest Milton. Designed by the world famous golf course architect, Tom Fazio, White Columns was listed among the Top 75 Upscale Public Courses in America by Golf Digest Magazine and also named the 8th Best Course in Georgia. In addition to its world-class 18-hole golf course with 7,053 yards of playing field from the longest tees for a par of 72, White Columns has a 2,000 sq. ft. golf shop where lessons are available from the pros, a 20,000 sq. ft. clubhouse for members to enjoy, and an Olympic-sized pool with swim instructors who give group classes and private individual lessons. Tennis instruction is also available on the club’s professional tennis courts where games are often sponsored by the Atlanta Lawn Tennis Association (ALTA) and the United States Tennis Association (USTA).
